Load this desk accessory into your Macintosh computer. This accessory is required for Network Management and ComTalk Router Management functions. System 7 users should drag the Suitcase file into their System 7 folder (the System Folder should be closed). Older systems require the use of the Font/DA Mover utility.
2. Router Software 3.2.6 Folder.
The Application inside this folder contains a downloader with a copy of the latest Software Release for ComTalk HX and HF routers.
YOU DO NOT NEED THIS AT THIS TIME because all routers are shipped with downloaded code.
This downloader can be used to update or reload software into any ComTalk Router on your network if it is deliberately or accidently CLEARED and reverts to a Downloader State (see manual).
3. Release Notes Folder
This folder contains Microsoft Word 5 documents that describe the features and changes since Software Release 3.1. Read this note and the ComTalk Router Administrator's Guide before installing a new unit.
4. SNMP Folder
The SNMP Folder contains the following files:
a) apt.asn
Contains the formal definition of the private enterprise APT Mib in ASN notation.
b) mib92.txt
This is a text file which contains a composite of all mibs supported. This has been extracted from the relevant RFCs and concatenated. Two changes were made:
• RFC 1229 was updated from the experimental MIB into the standard MIB (as per RFC1239).
• A minor syntax error in the appletalk-mib2 was corrected.
c) RFC.sit
